Couple if furloughs. Then was a week away from upgrade class and got the call
For new hire at the majors. Saw no sense in starting upgrade class as I'd sit through ground school and be gone. So submitted the resignation and was gone.....
If it wasn't for age and the shutdown in 94/95 (forget which year it was). Prob woulda upgraded a bit sooner
Not to mention, for a nonsked there wasn't alot if attrition on the capt side if things. P still alot of guys there with 20+ years
