If I enlist in the Army National Guard for 6 years and don't get picked up for flight training, can I apply to Air National Guard units? Vision is my main concern (the Air Force has lower standards). How would enlisting in the Army Guard limit my chances for getting flight training? What would I have to do to transfer to another unit? What about to transfer to active duty Navy or Air Force? Thanks!

Not a problem. I served 5.5 years of 6 yr enlistment in Army Guard. Transfered to Air Guard...in the process of getting into flight training. Just a matter of getting a conditional release. I would recommend skipping the Army and going straight into the Air Guard. JUST my opinion.
