Yep, been there, done that many times. And it's always best just to be nice.

"sorry to run up late like this, I didn't plan on taking this flight and was listed for the (whatever your reason was here).

Usually, they say "no problem", get me a JS/OMC pass, and I'm on my merry way. I always say "thanks for helping me out" and board the flight.

well put brother! my point is that the agent knows how the Airline business operates and they should understand that things don't always go according to plan. if I had time to list, I would!

PIT is a great airport but it certainly does have some weird things going on as far as how they operate!!!!
