Is this what the airline pilot profession has come to? So my crew and I get to the hotel desk to sign in for our overnight, and I notice another crew at the other end of the desk. Four crewmembers, unidentifiable for their company minus the Mesa crew tags. (Not picking on the company, that's just what it said.) I was amazed to see the collection of uniform items these four had collected for themselves. One pilot had a standard uniform on, minus tie, with a grey fleece. Another pilot had the uniform on, almost two fold: Wearing a black leather jacket with a blue overcoat on top of that. One fa actually had what appeared to be a standard uniform, while the other was wearing a United Airlines ramp jacket, black dockers type pants, and bright white gym shoes. I was embarrased to be next to a crew like that. I'm sure the passengers of their flights were pleased to see such a professional looking group. I'm ashamed, and I don't even work there.
