Outstanding post,Mr.Con-Air. I think the answer to your question goes without saying.All the supposed requirements these "new" screeners were going to have to meet have all mysteriously vanished. Imagine that!! This country will NEVER take airport security seriously as long as politics and political correctness rule the day. I just saw an excellent story on 60 minutes featuring EL AL and their active profiling program/policy.These people take no chances regarding anything,however their employees/screeners are educated,alert and professional.I hope our government has the guts to learn from this established,successful system.
