During all the bankruptcies it became more common for major airlines to charge annual or per use JS fees? Is anyone still doing this? Is there still anyone left that limits the number of Jumpseaters in the back? Thanks.

air tran still selectively charges $25 for the j/s after the first one. i say selectively cause i've seen some not charge and some that have charged. whenever i j/s on them i was treated well and offered a business class seat when available. only bad thing was you had to connect in ATL to get where you were going.

The only gate agents that charge are in ATL for the most part, and most Captains will go up to the gate and get them to remove the charge if you mention it to them.
