Does anyone know if RAM Air is hiring at the moment? Also how senior would an Orlando base be? DO they fly multis' out of ORL or only single engine aircraft? Are they VERY strict with the 1200 Total time or will they consider someone who is within 50 hours af all the FAR 135 minimums?

Luckily, they're not hiring grammer teachers. Just in case you thought this was correct grammer.

ORL...junior base...all singles. Strict 135 mins.

That doesn't mean wait until you have the mins to be in contact. If you are within 50hrs they will consider you, but you must meet them by the time you start ground school. No Exceptions.

If you're close, send a resume, better yet, call or stop in.

If you want to live in ORL you might as well check with Flight Express, thats their main base.

I'm with RAM based in ORL. They are hiring. 50 short might be tough, but I was 10 short so it depends on what you can get in training. If you can't get ORL out of training, its usually not that long of a wait to get here once someone leaves, or take another base with a possible multi run.

If they be hiring, it be only someone who are a pilot, and who do have the experiences. We be trying to find out the requirements. I suspects some edjemecation is required, but who know, maybe you be gettin lucky!

I be givin you some flap when I sees you on the flip side!
(Slappy!)

Is that you Cletus?

Cletus: (holds up a pair of dirty boots) Hey Brandine. You might could wear these to your job interview.

Brandine: And scuff up the topless dancin' runway? Naw, you best bring 'em back where from ya got 'em.

Cletus: Okay. (to boots)Back you go, to wait for a woman o' less discriminatin' taste.

Yes, they are always hiring. Six months is about the most anyone stays there. At a $75 per day rate, you can't afford to stay there too long. I have it on good authority that the Feds are watching them a little closer these days after some recent incidents and paperwork violations. Might not be the best career move.

Ram Air pays $85 a day for 1st year pilots, plus $2000 bonus after 1 full year, just to clear things up.

Ramair is a great place to work. They may not pay very much but the qol is good. Its like living in a small town everyone knows eachother. The multi time is really easy to get even without a multi run, just get checked in a twin and go on standby(just be ready to stay in a hotel). There is one pilot right now checked in all planes on stby who is very familiar with the hotel, but he is getting lots of twin time in all the planes. As far as the comment about the feds that is a bunch of BS. The company is a great way to get time and it makes for an easy transition to a better job.

Hey BIGDOG I'll molest the planes if I want to.

You'll molest a Collie too, but who's counting!

I know a 402 driver there right now, it is very true. They have had at least 3 incidents in the last 60 days, including and engine failure on a 6 that ended up in a field, gear failure on a check-ride at RDU, and I think the other was a guy that hit some taxiway lights. They also had a guy get a 30 day suspension for record keeping problems, that really the company should have been hit for. They let him be the fall guy.

Calls attention to an operation. If you have been there then you know what I am talking about.

If you write up that autopilot, then we will just remove it. Ring a bell?
