Can anyone give info about Aramco?

(1) How are your chances to progress from a contract to permanent expat deal with family (assuming you do a good job and keep your act together)?
(2) How are the compound(s)?
(3) How safe is it in the compound?
(4) How safe is it in for westerners in the Kingdom?
(5) What sides of the job did you not like?

I talked to them a few years back about a job flying their DC-8 out of HOU. They wanted a lot more DC-8 time than I had at the time. They offered good pay and a lot of time away from home.
