The First Officer reports to the Flight Department Manager and is responsible to the Captain of the flight for the conduct and execution of assigned duties.

The duties/responsibilities of the First Officer include but are not limited to:
1. Assisting the Captain with discharging safety responsibilities
2. Providing excellent customer/passenger service
3. Performing duties as assigned during flight preparation including ?

insuring the airworthiness of the aircraft
insuring that all pertinent charts are aboard aircraft
insuring that all necessary provisions are aboard aircraft
insuring that the aircraft appearance/cleanliness is satisfactory
4. Performing duties as assigned ?In-Flight? including ?

any or all ATC radio communications
execution and completion of pertinent ?Check Lists?
assist/comply with passenger requests
assist Captain in the completion of required ?Flight Logs?
5. Adequately trained/prepared to assume the dutiesof the Pilot in Command in the event the PIC is incapacitated
6. Thoroughly familiar with and able to execute all Federal Aviation Administration, Company, and /or Flight Department policies pertinent to assigned duties
7. Maintain pertinent currency on assigned aircraft
8. Maintain appropriate Medical Certificate


Qualifications
Qualified candidate will possess the following:
1. Minimum Flight Hours:

Total Time - 2,000
PIC - 1,000
Multi-Engine - 500
Turbine - 500
2. Minimum Certification - Airline Transport Certificate
3. Medical Certificate - Current - Second
4. Flight Instructor Certification - Recommended
