Anyone flown the approach at SKRG, Medellian? I just wanted to ask how you would fly the approach coming in on B689, heading 150...

I'm a little sketchy on course reversals, without radar vectors and no defined PT.

The way it looks to me is once you reach the IAF, which is the RNG VOR, you fly outbound, for about 3 minutes, depending on your speed, and execute a teardrop entry into the holding pattern to intercept the localizer.

It's pretty tight here and the glideslope is at about 11K feet.

Sorry I don't have a copy of the IAP with me to post, I'm hoping someone here as a copy and can answer my question.

thanks

I don't have a copy of the approach plate either, and it's been a while since I've shot the approach into SKRG. From what I can remember, you are correct about the teardrop entry. This is one of those approaches where it helps to be configured a bit early.
Good luck!
