So I sent my resume to this DC8 cargo outfit, not thinking I would even get a second look, but it never hurts to try. Low and behold they overnited the employment application, all the paperwork for previous 121 records, drug testing etc. I was shocked and excited. My question is, it seems like they want me to send the completed package back YESTERDAY because interviews are in Feb. My handwriting is horrible but I did the best I could and filled it all out tonite and was going to send it first thing in the morning.

Does it really matter how you fill out the app, should I take the extra day to scan it in to a computer and type all the stuff or just send it? The application itself looked like it had been photocopied 100 different times. Or could I just type all the info in order out as a word doc and print it off and send it.

Maybe Im just being paranoid but my first 121 job was send a resume, come interview, your hired, oh by the way fill the stuff out on the first day.

Any help is appreciated.

I think you're referring to ATI, which I also applied to. I got the same situation. Sandra in HR sent me an email telling me that she was going to fax the application to me and to make sure I got it back to her really quickly so they could schedule the interviews in time. I filled out the application as quickly as I could and sent it back, but I haven't heard anything yet about an interview.

Normally I would think that neatness would be pretty important, but since they were in such a rush to get things done I think they might overlook it. The most important thing is to make sure the information on the application is all correct. Lots of people end up not getting jobs because some of the information on the application was not filled out or was just plain wrong. In this case, ATI has already taken down the ad on their website for FOs and FEs, so you might just want to get the app in as quickly as possible. The window might close pretty quick. Good luck, and let me know if you get called for an interview. Who knows, we might be interviewing on the same day. :)

Yup its ATI. You know anything about this place. Pay, bases, days off, all the usual stuff. Most I could get from their website, was on demand 121 operation. They seem to fly everywhere. Better get my passport finally!
