Anyone know of a service that specializes in typing airline applications?

I recieved the ATA app and wanted to type it, but because it is in booklet form, I am not sure the best way to proceed.

Thank you!

Hi,

When I received the app I used a razor knife and separated the pages, typed them out, and once complete stapled it back together along with my resume. It worked like a charm. Hope that heps..Good Luck !!!

Does typing them really make a difference or is it just for the folks with s#itty penmanship?

No pun intended.

:D

Try using Adobe Acrobat and a scanner it works like a charm.

I dont know about the adobe acrobat thing since you are not allowed to send in a copy of the app, it must be an original. As far as the typing thing I think they like to see it purely because it will more than likely be easier to read. Not totally necessary but if you hand write it I would be sure that you have excellent penmanship, just my 2 cents...Good Luck guys, and gals.

I just got done with mine. I practiced with a couple of copied pages both written and typed and decided to type it (I borrowed one). I was able to separate the staples from the middle being careful not to damage them so I could put it back together. When folded on the crease, the pages go through a typewriter just fine. Make sure the paragraphs you have to write fit in the space allowed before you start typing though:o When you're done you can either take the app to a print shop that has a large enough stapler or do like I did and wiggle the staples back into where they were and fold them back down into place. The things we do in this industry:rolleyes:
