Hey all, anyone have any experience with this program? I was leaning towards joining. Seems really cheap for what it can do.
Any one have any concerns about it?
Thanks

Folks I know that have used it have been pleased with the results. I think it's a decent investment. If something happens, at least you get to speak to someone who has a clue.

I'll second this statement. A little more than the basic membership, but worth the cost. You have an hour or so free legal advice. I could be mistaken regarding the time.

Edit: Of course if you're anything like me, you'll let your membership expire and be out of luck when the need for legal advice rears it's ugly head.;)

The folks at AOPA legal will provide fantastic legal support. I have used it to save my certificates when threatened with enforcement action by an over zealous FAA Inspector who wanted to violate me for something done by the guy who held the chief pilot's position before me (at my last company). I highly recommend it!

In conjunction with that my family also carry pre-paid legal insurance which we have used many many times. Free legal coverage when dealing with lots of things, like buying a house, dealing with a cellphone company's mistaken overcharges. It's like $20/mth and you get up to 60hours a year of a lawyer's time in court if you need it as well as things like phone advice, sending nasty letters etc... In fact I used it once to force an insurance company to pay up. That alone was worth the cost of the insurance premium for years to come.
