I've got it. I think it's worth the free counciling should you need it.

I've got it, too. I have the ATP plan, which is more expensive but has more comprehensive coverage.

(Please, no one read into this next bit...) Since I work for a non-union carrier, I think the AOPA legal plan is a good investment, in case I ever find myself in hot water with the FAA.

I have faith that my company will back me up, as long as I have acted in good faith. But, I think the AOPA plan is a good, cost effective backup.

Is there a link you can post that describes all the coverage included in detail?

a better question would be has anybody ever had to use the aopa legal plan. if so, was it worth it? just curious.

I also have it. Lawyers are expensive. If I ever do find myself in a ... "disagreement" with the fine people at the FAA ... I'll need help paying for the services of someone who can more accurately interpret the law to determine the truth.

(was that emotionally neutral enough?)
