Boa Sucks!
I had my AOPA card and yes, while I had some bad marks over last summer, since the new job I had been making on-time payments for about 6 months, infact, I was giving more than the minimum payment. Well, the interest rate was killing me so I called them and asked what they could do to help me with that (you know, all the experts tell you to call the credit card companies to get them to lower your rate, blah blah blah). Well, they said that I couldn't talk to a manager, that the manager would contact me the next week (it was a Friday). Well, the manager didn't call me. About 4 weeks later, I got a letter in the mail from BOA saying that they had reviewed my accound and they were going to close it, oh, and not only that they were going to raise my interest rate. So ******************** them, I managed to get a loan (with a reeeeaaaallly nice interest rate) and paid the whole thing off. Sure, BOA may not be breaking any laws, but their buisness practices are predatory at best and they do nothing to help you. I personally think AOPA would be better served if they were not associated with BOA/MBNA or whatever.
