Haven't heard much about JALWays/NCA etc in the past few months, anyone had any interaction with these guys? Hiring info? Has anyone just showed up at the offices in LAS or HNL for a meet and greet? Anyone? Anyone?

I know the scheduler at Nippon Cargo Airlines, I may just give him a call and see what information I can get out of him. Here is the link to the webite, just in case you do not have it.

I heard through the grapevine recently that Wasainc guys are bailing due to Wasainc not keeping promises. Don't know specifics, just what I've heard.

JALWAYS/WASINC started class on 1st of July. They are still hiring.
May have another class end of this year, but who knows.

What are the requirements for an ATPL-ICAO?

What specifically do you want to know about an ICAO ATPL?

In essence there is NO civilian license with words "ICAO ATPL" on it. IT is any license issued by western states such as USA - FAA. Canada - MOT, EU - JAR/JAA, AUS, NZ, HKG a few others.
ATPL stands for Airline Transport Pilot License and is the SAME ticket as an ATP except the Europeans etc tack on the word license (spelt licence) @ the end.
Hope that helps.

From someone who has THREE ICAO ATPLs - FAA, Irish IAA & UK CAA!!

Nippon Cargo Airlines is looking for F/O's through PARC Aviation
& HAC.

My contact said that they have 18 Captains out of JFK & 4 F/O's, not tooooo many Captains excited that they have to fly out of the right seat, for extended periods of time.

Parc Aviation

They are one of the better known crew leasing agencies. Based in Dublin, Ireland.
Their web-site is www.parcgroup.com
All the info you need will be there.

If interested, they will get you to register yr details on an on-line form (not too long, just 1 page & pretty basic stuff)

Good luck.

Sorry about that parc aviation address folks - finger trouble!

Midnight Mike got it right.

Doesn't Nippon Cargo also have a base in SFO? I've seen advertisements for more than a year now for 747-200 FOs to be based there or have they all moved to JFK?
Just curious.

NCA has crew bases at JFK, SFO, & AMS, "2" different leasing companies doing the crew hiring, gets a little confusing at times.
