I'm looking into the IFR checkmate checklist. Is it worth it? Does it mostly have items on it that most IFR pilots will already know?

Thanks.

i got the one for ten bucks and blacked out all the advertisements and added some of my own notes over other ads.

it's pretty complete

Is on the same page as the cloud sight level in Sporty's?

Hmmm. IFR procedures checklist:

Aviate
Navigate
Communicate

Time, Turn, Twist, Talk, Throttle

WX
Missed Approach
Altitudes
Radios
Time
Headings
Airspeeds

Did I forget something?

Tarp, that's exactly the kind of stuff that I am thinking might be on there. I am skeptical, but I remember reading on the board a while back that people seem to like it, and it is a worthy investment. I just don't want to spend money to get anything that tells me stuff I already know. I guess it's only $10, but I'm also Scottish, which means I'm pretty stingy.

Thanks.

Why not use word/excel or other programs and complete your own "more complete" checklist and add the "extra" things you want on it, go to Kinkos, print one up on glossy paper, highlight it, and finally laminate it and you are done.?? I guess if you wanted to save the $10.00 then this would probably accomplish the same thing however on the other hand is $10.00 really that much.?? Oh well, guess I have too much free time on my hands on this early saturday morning.:p

on the other hand> one could probably make some extra cash if they came up with a better checklist and cheat sheet and marketed it towards instrument students and others.....
