GII Freighter, GII Freighter!!!!

Rip out the cabin interior and put a cargo door in that bird! It will look even better!

I don't think they ever put a cargo door on the GII. But the Saudi's have several GIII's and GIV's with a cargo door on the right side of the aircraft. Most of these doors were a mod installed by Marshall's in Cambridge. The aircraft were ostensibly used for "medivac" purposes in support of the royal family, but the door was plenty large enough for a pallet. I think I saw a pic of a company here in the states that may operate one of the old Saudi aircraft in medivac ops.

I miss the 'ol straight pipe GII I used to fly. What a great airplane.
