Anyone remember WestAir?

Hi, I flew for WestAir from 1996 to 1998.

The company has been out of business for some time and I feel like my 'contact' information is incredibly out of date.

I'm trying to complete Southwest's interview packet. I was wondering if there are any ex-WestAir pilots who might have more complete contact information.

They were part of the Mesa Air group, but I only have their Fresno address.

We have alot of West Air guys here at ExpressJet; Especially in the training department. I don't have any names, but I've heard of people talking about the good old days at West Air. Good Luck!

A lot of the WestAir management guys are at Allegiant.

I always put the Fresno address down, but it was 88-89 for me so it's a moot point on the 10 year background check anymore. I would find somebody from Flight Ops. management and use them as a reference. Of course a more correct answer can be found from the likes of ResumeWriter or TIS (another former WestAir guy)

I appreciate the info. I actually got the address from somebody but thanks for trying.

I flew the Jetstream for them for about a year and-a-half, but I'll never forget it.

One of my FO's is trying to get on with Allegiant. He lives near MCO, but I guess Sanford is pretty close.

I saw the intel on AirlinePilotCentral. Can I pass along any pertinent information to him?

I fly for west air inc. They used to be west air but they fly as a fedex feeder now. The website is www.westair.net. Hope this helps.
