I am going to speak with her in the next couple days. I spent lots of time in my last year of college putting together a resume and Im not happy with it so I am considering a professional service. I DID meet with a career counseling peeps at school and they didnt help to much, nor my professors. I started this thread to find out others opinions on the subject and I feel its an overwhelming yes on getting it done. Biotch, your a hard core terd. Lay off my thread.

I did that too, and they were useless. A friend of mine is a recruiter at a 135 company and gave me a TON of hints. I'm guessing what Kathy is saying is she makes your resume stand out instead of blending in with everyone elses. After talking to this guy and making a few recommended 'changes' I immediatly had job offers.

You know what I love about this board...If someone has an opinion, they give it, and the people on here that do not like it, that person gets shot down.

Look....As for my grammitcal errors, spelling mistakes..blah blah blah like the others on here that have said..if your going to point that out, your retarded :) SO SORRY I DIDN'T SPEND THE TIME TO RE READ WHAT I TYPED.

As for the aviation professor comment saying I wasted money...

4 year degree is a waste?? Sure....

Resume Writer...Didn't even know you were on this thread. Sorry to offend ya. Im sure you are an EXCELLENT resume writer. To me writing a resume isn't that big of a deal especially the information that is out there to help you write one.

BigD love you 2 ;)

I'm with Biatch5 on this one..... What's so hard about writing a resume (sorry Kathy) Hell, I work for CHQ and if you pay me I'll write your resume for you and get you an interview @ CHQ. :D

I have one of course but it doesnt stand out and I was curious if anyone had used a service that wrote one for you and if it was worth it.

Of course I had a professionally-done resume. If you could see what I came up with on my own, you'd understand why. Kathy did it.

Like I said, I'll write the resume AND get you an interview and I'll charge 1/2 what Kathy does :)

I'll even make it smell nice and use pretty paper like Elle Woods did on Legally Blonde :)

THATS YOUR SECRET, I KNEW IT KATHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been found out - pretty paper that smells good! :D Of course now I just have to figure out how to deliver that wonderful smell in a Word document!

No offense taken! :) I love being able to help out fellow aviation professionals get their dream job (or first job) in this industry.

Do you say that to EVERY Air Force Academy graduate that run into, or just TonyC?

What?? He went to The Air Force Academy?? Makes no sense what he said then... My cousin went to the Academy... Great School!

A diamond will shine wherever its polished. Meaning doesn't matter what school you go to.

Can't tell you how many times I've read on here.... Getting a 4 year degree at Embry-Riddle is just as good as a 4 year degree at Broward Community College (also known as Beer Can College) for you local south floridians :) Regionals/Major Airlines dont care where you went to college but having a 4 year degree gives you an edge over the "other" applicants

Bubba, you'd starve to death on half of what she charges.
