Making a resume is easy. Making a kick @ss resume that stands out in a stack of them is the hard part. That's where Kathy comes in.

It's like web design. Using the design tools is easy. Anyone can create a web site. And you can even buy books to give you design tips. But look around the web, and it's very, very easy to tell the sites designed by professionals, and those by everyone else.

Wow! That's amazing.

Pretty much says it all....

Yep sure does.....You didn't proof read your resume before submitting or you just suck really bad at writting a resume.

Come on now for me I didnt pay someone to write my resume.... Looked at my fellow pilots resumes (all had different techniques) went to my aviation professors and they helped me out also.

I guess its money well spent to you all

Pay Kathy to write you a resume.

http://www.awriteresume.com

I figured the cost of another week of unemployment compared with the costs of the resume package were comparable, at least in my circumstances.

I thought I had a nice resume until I got the package Kathy composed for me. I was floored -- and got interviews.

lol I cant belive you all are that stupid to do that... FOOLS YOU ARE :)

What interviews are you talking about???// if its airline interviews they have it where you can fill out a resume online.... how I got my job.

oh and by the way whoever sends in a cover letter should get their ass kicked

what kind of stupid crap is that anyways a cover letter..... never ever did one and never ever had a problem with getting hired at any job. ok enough venting!

dont you young pilots know any other pilots with resumes that can be emaield to ya. hell this is flight info start a thread of resumes and have people send you theirs. JUST A THOUGHT! Im trying to help yall and save you money :)

Looks like YOU'RE the one who wasted money !

Thanks everyone for the nice comments! :)

Biatch - If you have read any of my other threads, I have never said that people cannot do their own resume. If it worked for you, that is great!

Can you use someone else's resume and get by with it? Sure. But when people use my service, they are paying not only for my writing skills, but knowing what the hiring managers want to see.

As for the online apps, you can fill those out also with your information. Or you can use the information I write to fill in the blanks. It is the knowledge of how the employers search from the back end that my clients benefit from in the end.

To Richard - I responded to your request. Let me know if you received the email. :)

Give him a break....Maybe he's had a lobotomy since then...or suffered some sort of prolonged oxygen deprivation.

Either way, I'd have to say that judging by the writing skill he's demonstrated on this board --specifically his numerous spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors-- he got his job based on being someone's son-in-law or cousin as opposed to a his "stellar" resume.

I'm certain that we'd all be impressed with it.

Biatch is just a troll. Nothing more. Probably the same guy as many of the other trolls we've been seeing lately.

I'll just reiterate what everyone else has said. Go to Kathy. She does great work and I've never had any complaints about my resume. Kathy knows what hr managers are looking for when they view resumes and how to present it in an easy to read format. Couldn't have been happier with mine.
