Anyone know of any Lear jobs?

Well, it was bound to happen. The company I was employed with hired a new Director of Maintenence and within a week we caught him pencil-whipping inspections on the Lears. According to him, he accomplished a 300-hour on one plane and a 600-hour on the other in about 8 hours worth of work. I expressed my thoughts and concerns about it and, wouldn't you know it, two weeks later they bring both jets home for proper inspections and I was let go because, "I have a bad attitude." All this happens just at the time my wife is undergoing tests for possible cancer among other things! I guess there's never a GOOD time to get canned, but I really need to be working right now.

I'm available for contract or full-time employment. Over 6000 hours total time, 1800 or so in Lear 20/30 series, and a 12-year Army Vet. in aviation maintenence. Please PM me if you know of anything.

Wow. What a master of efficiency he is. And to think we've been paying out the wazoo like suckers having a shop take up to a week to accomplish a 600 hour.

It's amazing the quality of (mis)management that abounds in aviation. Sounds like he's going to make the Aviation Director look like a hero by saving all that cash on maintenance...that is until the 1st time they go into a reputable shop and the squawks keep coming and coming and coming.

I don't know if you're interested in 135 or not, but JetCorp (Jet Direct) in St. Louis (SUS) has been advertising for crews for their Lear fleet. Jetcorp.com. I also saw an ad for a 55 Captain at Meridian Charter at TEB.
