Anyone in the ExpressJet July 6th Class?

Im just wondering who else here is in the July 6th class at XJT. You can PM me if you want to. Also, how long does it take to find out where you are based? I wanted to go ahead and start looking at living options in both IAH and EWR. I am hoping for IAH though.

I also have the FO flows down pretty good I think. We have to know the Captian flows too right?

Thats all for now

Look at his profile...I'm guessing XJT. BTW, who do you currently fly the 145 for? Just curious.

Sry.....im getting ahead of myself. I guess I should wait to put that up until I past the checkride

I’m not flaming you, somebody will though. I thought that maybe you flew for TSA, AE, or Mesa and jumped to XJT. Best of luck in your training.

Not, unless you were hired into the left seat, in which case I'd have to slap some ALPA dude around. Good luck in training.

P.S. Saty away from the Holiday Inn pool.

When I went through initial you had to know the Captain flows....but thats been almost 2 years ago.

Know both CA and FO flows for initial training at xjt.

You need to know the flows but they cannot fail you on them. However, if you are completely clueless with them it will not look good. Make sure you know the FO flows 100% and then move to the Capt flows. There is a mock cockpit at the Holiday Inn. Make sure you practice up there with different people. When you step into the FTD or Sim you are guaranteed to lose a few IQ points so it pays to be well prepared. None of this is super difficult. I am slacker by trade and made it through. Enjoy your time in training. Take breaks when needed and don't try to learn everything. Listen to your instructors and what they tell you to study! The other big thing is call outs. Practice them outloud and in random order. Enjoy training. Xjet does a great job. 99% of the instructors are great. If for some reason you have a problem with someone talk to another instructor about it.
