It was around 9:30 am today... Towards the end he said "check taxi and runway markings for correct identification, DUH!". At first I was like WTF? Did I hear that right? Anyway, thought it was pretty funny.

That has been on the ATIS there for about a year. People were landing on the new taxiway between the two runways. It is pretty ridiculous that that has to be on there in the first place.

Wow, I never noticed it before... I fly out of LNA, so I usually just use it for winds and Altimeter (so I typically shut it off before the end). I did hear about a somewhat notorious incident (landing on a taxiway) last december. Though I don't see how checking rwy/taxi markings would help that. Kinda too late by the time you see 'em!
