Just wondering is anyone else gets any use out of their NAFI membership (National Association of Flight Instructors). I joined several months ago and haven't noticed any benefits other than the cheap tie tack, and silly magazine that comes every month. Yes, there are discounts on pilot supplies, but after a degree in Aviation, I have just about every aviation book/manual ever published....

I'm a member.

NAFI is still a growing organization and the only one that is directed at the interests of CFIs. For that reason alone, it's worth the annual dues.

I use the NAFI-specific discounts from time to time, but that NAFI number is also a ticket to a group of EAA discounts and benefits, including free AeroPlanner basic membership and a not too bad program with Ford Motor Company.

Again, they are a growing organization. They are the only professional organization specifically for CFI's, so they get my dues.

I got some gleim books at discount, and the Aeroplanner is nice.

What's "Aeroplanner?"
