Anyone heard anything after recent phone interview for Netjets

Prior to the phone interview, are they still sending out emails acknowledging they've received your application, or has it been just a phone call out of the blue? And did they call your cell or home number?

Reason I ask is that today I received a formal sounding voicemail that was cutoff in mid-sentence! All I got was: "Hello this phone call is for XXX, this is..." Instant heartburn....I hope it was just a telemarketer. Thanks to the wonders of junk Time Warner landline digital phone, I can't *69 to see what the number was.

All it said was "Out of Area." Also my online phone bill only shows dialed calls, not received calls. I hate Time Warner.

they dont call you for the phone interview. They e-mail you to set up a date.

Yes, I got the email yesterday for the phone interview. Timeline so far has been, April 21- App accepted. July 10--requesting a phone interview in August--July 11--phone interview on August 20.

Now I guess I have to go to another website and get some idea of what to expect in the phone interview. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am glad to have gotten this far, by the way.

Phone interview is mostly HR type questions with some small talk mixed in. Lasts about 15-20 minutes or so. Questions like: Why NJA, Why you, How do you define customer service, etc...

Just be yourself.....assuming you are not a jerk.

Is an email good or bad? Or is it an email regardless of outcome?

My e-mail was good, but they told me that I would receive a good or a bad e-mail. Either that you would be continuing with the interview process or not.

Here's a timeline:

End of May - Email to setup phone interview.
Mid June - Did phone interview
End of June - Got above mentioned 'good' e-mail...

I really don't think that anyone interviewing in the month of July will see a job at NJ until Oct-Nov. Especially with the amount of April "unofficial good news" e-mails (see another thread for that info)
