Anyone hear from XJT

I'm sure they will call us all who haven't heard anything yet. I'm sure it is just a waiting game. Seems like everybody hired recently did the exact same thing and wait.
 
My buddy and I got called the last week of December for mid January interviews. We both applied in October......I don't know what to tell the rest of y'all who applied in Sept, Oct, Nov, and Dec that are still waiting for the call. However, I do know this......DO NOT SEND RESUMES OR CONTACT HR!!!! The HR department at Express Jet is very overwhelmed with people to review and call. With over 10,000 online applications and maybe 5 to 7 people in HR able to look at all of those apps, any kind of push on your part could be looked at in a negative way. If you really want to work at Express Jet, your patience will be rewarded. If it's just a jet job you want, there are many other regionals out there hiring as well.

Mind sharing what kind of times you and your buddy have? Are you both freight guys?
 
The thing is the online app doesnt ask for your times if I recall, it just asks if youo meet the minimums so I don't know how they would know how much time people have

Here is what it asks now. They changed it, it asks the following-
How much fixed-wing time do you have as of today's date (do not include simulator time)?

More than 600 hours
499-600 hours
Less than 499
How much multi-engine time do you have as of today's date (do not include simulator time)?

More than 100 hours
75 - 100 hours
Fewer than 75 hours
Along with a few other questions and you attach your resume when you apply.
Oh, and a min. of 20hrs IMC appears to be gone.

you cant be serious?? I've heard that they wanted to get rid of mins, but to actually happen. thats ridiculous.

It doesn't mean that the minimums are gone. It could just mean that they are letting people apply with lower time and keep updating to show motivation and interest in working at Xjet.

I know the phone interview isn't that hard but what did they ask you ?

I am currently on my last week of training at XJT. 40 percent of my class had to repeat at least one training event. 80 percent of those with difficulties transitioning to ERJ are cargo guys. Most of the CFI in my class are doing well. I don't know if it is a fluke I can only speak of what seen in my class group.



As for the phone call it took almost three months to get my call.

I got a voicemail today from dawn asking that I fax my resume in. I applied back on oct.6th. So I guess they are doing calls again.Hopefully I will get another call tomorrow....

I'm a freight dog with like 2300tt and 500 multi who sent my stuff in (peoplescout) back in Oct. I have a good friend who works there, and I still can't get a call.

I've had 2 other calls, but none from these guys.
