China Airlines landing at Kai Tak. That's what happened! Accident-prone airline at a demanding airport.

And the Tu-144 crash at LeBourget- I think all that is known for sure is that the wings failed in overload during the flight demonstration. What happened to cause that is source of some controversy. The Soviets of course blamed the French for the accident.
 
ramp space can be tight at some airports...

Maybe it's a new remote parking spot? Instead of busses to and fro, they just use a tugboat?

"The aircraft overran runway 13 while landing at Kai Tak Airport in Hong Kong. Weather at the time of the accident consisted of gale force winds, and following an unstable approach, the aircraft touched down more than 2/3 down the runway. The crew was unable to stop the aircraft in the remaining runway."
