Anyone fly out of VNY in the late 80s?

I'm sitting here in my hotel room putting my paper logbooks into the computer and started wondering what my first flight instructor is up to..

His name is Mike Finch.. We flew out of the Van Nuys Flight Center (VNY) in 87-89.. I think he's flying for America West but not too sure. Anyone know him?

We've got one in the top 18% of the seniority list at SkyWest. Could be the same?

Very well might be. I know he went to work the ramp for America West in 89 in the hopes of getting on with them.

If you ever run into him and remember, could you ask him if he was a CFI in VNY back then?
