Just wondering if anyone else on here interviewed at ExpressJet on the 8th? ExpressJet does a wonderful job of interviews and i had a lot of fun. They offered me the job and I cant wait to start training! If anyone interviewed on the 8th PM me.

They told me April but its subject to change and could be sooner. So i dont have a definite date yet. I guess there are some people not showing up for training and maybe taking other jobs. So hopefully sooner than later.

SuperPilot,

When did you fill out the online app to get a 2/8 interview date? I filled it out 2 weeks ago, and I was wondering if I can expect to wait the 90 days for a call.

Thanks!

they told us it was a 4 month wait right now. I applied late oct or early Nov.

Good luck

Thanks! I cant wait to start up. I am from houston so of course thats where i want to be based. But i am just thankful i was offered the job. Any advice about bases? What is the chance of getting houston? It doesnt really matter i am just ready to get the ball rolling. I have already started studying.

IAH is the biggest domicile. If you don't get it in training, it shouldn't take long to get it afterwards.

Between the other two, I'd take EWR. You'll have some crazy experiences operating in that airspace, plus there's the lure of New York City to get you out of the crashpad.

CLE operates in sort of its own microcosm. Outside crews don't go through there much, and CLE guys are rarely scheduled to fly through other bases. It gets kind of stagnant up there, I guess. It has its own peculiarities that you only have in CLE. Plus there's nowhere worth a crap to eat in the entire airport.

The overall atmosphere in EWR is definitely the most interesting, but us IAH guys get our fair share of Newark flying too, plus we get more Mexico and LAX red-eye flying. So the flying is a lot more diverse in Houston.
