I know a guy from back at UVSC that paid for it; then he really didn't like it much. He and I went on a time building trip to KBOI and I got flight following, and suggested he get flight following on the way back, we stopped at KSLC for a few touch and goes; after the flight he was perfectly comfortable. If he had stumped I was there to assist. You might try this out with a CFI or just someone wanting to split time.squale said:just wondering if anybody uses this program and can respond back with their expeirence of how well the program performs and recognizes your voice.. etc.
It's basically a traffic advisory service from ATC while en route. You will be in constant contact with ATC, you will also overhear high altitude pilots (Airlines, Corporate, etc) and you can absorb a lot that way. If you’re just starting out, you may be getting ahead of the game a tad but it’s never to early to practice.squale said:what is flight following.. sorry I'm a newbie.. lol

Good Luck
