I got called today to fax the resume to Express Jet. How long 'til some of you guys heard anything from them? Also do they still to the phone screening/interview type thing or do they just ask you some basic info and (hopefully) invite you down for the interview. FYI i've got 1100 total 155 twin, but are they still hiring people off the street (not the ATP direct trrack thing) at the published mins?

thanks,

I got the call yesterday 1200 and 200 applied in Jan didnt met mins then applied in april just got called. I faxed it for craps and giggles. I expect the email saying thanks but you never know

Got called today, applied May 6. In that time I interviewed at 1 other company (first choice, took the job, started class June 13) and was offered interviews at 4 other companies. I wish that they would have called sooner, I would have considered them. Even now they just asked me to fax a resume. Seems like a good company. Oh well.

I applied in december, with 2000 and 400 multi. Got a call to send in my resume in mid may, finally got it faxed out in the begining if june. Got a call from angela yesterday and said I would either be called for a july interview or sent an email saying im not qualified.

Who knows what will happen, seems like everyone has different experiences with XJET HR. Havent seen much uniformity.

What do you mean you didn't have the mins? They're only 600 and 100 still, right? Actual time hold you back?

Published mins and actual hiring mins are different. Express turned down a buddy of mine with 2000+ because he didn't meet the "current hiring mins".

you suck!! I have gotten 9 responses so far YOU RUINED IT :)

Oh well Its been fun! I know its wrong but........................ gosh darnit it was funny

Just kidding with you newbies trying to get on :)

Good Luck!!

That is a good one. I knew you must have been busting some of these guys. Sorry i ruined it for you though. Game on.

So, then what are the "current mins," if they're not the published ones. They'll take folks from a certain nationwide rating mill flight school (fellow alumnus) at 600 or less, right? Then why didn't they take someone w/ 2k? Ain't makin' no sense, but when do airlines make sense?

The mins may be 600 and 100 pulblished but to get hired you probably need more than that unless you are internal or from some of those schools that have agreements. I know it is BS but thats how it works. Its all about timing end of last year and up to early this year time didnt mean much as long as you had a good attitude and that may still be the case but they are getting more selective because hiring has slowed down. Keep in good spirits and continue to persist and hopefully you will get an interview, Keep flying and building up your flight time all the way up to the interview dont slow down a bit.

Good Luck
