Looks kinda like my first flight in a real helicopter...the whole time the instructor was sitting there, hands folded in his lap, saying(in his deep southern drawl)...."You gonna handle this, or am I?" :D

Yeap, RC Airplanes

Looks like this was one of thise UFO's I always heard about in the Vegas desert!! LOL..

Great Flying......:D

I fly some fixed wing stuff, but wow that video. That is nuts. Very impressive just to be able to know where the chopper is let alone control it.

That was unbelievable. My hats off to the pilot.

I wish real helicopters would do that.

I'd be a rotorhead for sure.

i think some of that defies physics....its unreal to see.
Amazing video!

I fly airplanes...

I fly the utra stick 60 size with crow. Just incase you dont know what this is, its full flaps with alerons up about 30 degrees. I produces amazing slow flight, even hovers and reverse flight with the right winds. Also I can take her up to altitude directly above the flying field and bring her vertical downward without gaining airspeed, slow and land in 20 feet!..
Really cool flying, does almost all acrobatics, can scream around when cleaned up and full span alerons on do rolls at about 720/sec.....then slow down and maintain great controlability....

Every RC pilot should have one, but it does require a computer radio for mixing......Hanger 9 makes them....

This helo pilot is awesome, I need him to come by here and trim my tall bushes!!! :D

Crazy vid... seen that stuff in person a ton.

I (used to) fly pylon racers (Quickie 500). 180 mph is friggin sweet and such a rush. Feels like your own little Reno. Only without the cheesy smoke. And real midairs. :D

I also fly a profile plane. That thing is ridiculous. Once you get the hang of it you can do some "physics defying" moves. Alierons are 1/3 the surface area as the rest of the completely symmetrical wing. Like whoa.

Thanks for posting that link!

I have 3 r/c helicopters of which one is in the process of being fitted for a bell 222 scale fuselage. You may be surprised to learn the cost of getting into the hobby. To give you an idea of the cost, the above mentioned scale helicopter when complete would command a selling price of $1,200.00. You can imagine the anxiety thats present on each flight.
