How is it living over there, good, bad, ugly? What are some good companies? The only one I've found so far is inter-island air.

I wanted to work there too, for a while, back when I was a low-time instructor. I didn't and that turned out to be a good thing.

I ended up going through ground school here in the US with an Australian dude who flew DH-6s there. He had nothing but bad to say about the job; crappy management, apparently due to the airline being run by the government or something. Shortly after he left, one airplane's tail blew off when some illegally transported propane canisters exploded in the back, killing everyone. He also said the island on which you are most likely to live is not one of the scenic ones.

Things might have changed; this was a few years ago. It doesn't seem like a good place to get stuck in a crappy job, though.
