Anybody ever fly a Cessna F406 Caravan II???

Post this question on the pprune.org africa forum. Quite a few there doing a lot of flying, and I know you will get some good gen.

Got a few hours in one doing freight, and enjoyed my time in it, although that was 5 years ago and the specific numbers escape me. Essentially a turbine C404 that is unpressurised, hauls a good load and is relatively fast.

No major maintenance issues that I know of, and the fact that they operate them in africa means that they have to be pretty reliable, as maintenance can be a loooooong way away sometimes. One can also fit a cargo pod under the fuselage which adds to the versatility and load carrying.

One quirk is that it can be a little pitch sensitive with an aft cg and a heavy load.
