Anybody ever fly a Cessna F406 Caravan II???

If so, could you give me the low down on the aircraft. Such as flying characteristics, fuel burn, normal cruise TAS, total fuel, and useful load. Any help would be great. I know there are only a few in the states, but I am trying research some numbers.

No, not yet. The company is looking hard at buying one. Trying to find some info and decide if it is a good or bad thing. I would be flying it and I don't want a quirky airplane or maintenance pig that is going to get me stuck out on the road.

Since there are not any around here, it should at least be a fun ferry flight from "parts unknown".

I think prioity air out of ohio operates one, they might give you the info.

They do and I doubt they will give out anything. They are hard to deal with if they think you might be the competition. Was hoping we might have one of their pilots on this board. There are only 8 registered in the U.S.. Priority has one, there is one in the Virgin Islands, and the rest are in Alaska. Oh well, it was worth a try.

I did fly them in Europe many years ago!
Cant tell you anything about the performance anymore but it was a nice reliable aircraft to fly.
