We were in Portland a couple of weeks ago (HIO) and a 333 landed next to us. My boss, being the shy guy he is, walked over and started talking to the pilot about it. The pilot seemed to really like the machine, and it sparked a conversation we have had off and on about getting one. Anyone got any experience with one of these? What are some other available options for entry level turbine powered helos? I'm somewhat familiar with the Bells, I believe the 206 is what the 333 is competing with. Comments?

If you are not carrying more than 4 paxs, you might want to take a look at the FH1100. Everyone I have talked with that has flown it, likes it. There is an outfit in Florida that re-manufactures them. Uses the same engine as the 206, but the fuel burn and operating costs are lower. The 333 was originally intended to replace the 269's used by the military for training. But I haven't heard any complaints about them.
