Any word on Big Brown and Hiring?

Haven't heard a thing from the Big Brown machine. Will UPS be hiring? Or is that too just another hopeful's dreams? Any word on anything happening at UPS would be great! Thanks!

Hiring

I have been told that because of a displacement bid that just came out ,we will not do any hiring for at least the first quarter of 2002. No word on the second quarter of 2002.

No hiring, what about interviews?

Does UPS mantain a large pool of pilots? Or is it more interview then hire and train right away? Thanks for the reply. Still standing with my hand poised above the phone to say Yes I can be there in 10 mins to interview.

They do both, I believe now they have a pretty large pool built up.
