I don't think you'll be able to build any multi-time doing traffic watch, they usually fly beat up old C-152's and C-172's. Go up to KZPH and see if there any jump pilot positions available. They used to have a twin otter out there.

There's traffic watch out of KISM flying 172's. When I was around the area they were always looking for someone to work there.
