Are there any RFPs at American Eagle? Maybe it's not talked about much or quite poosibly I haven't noticed, but I haven't seen the same level of RJ whipsawing at Eagle that I see at DCI. Is there any scope protection at Eagle or AA that prevents AMR from going outside of Eagle for their RJ lift?

AA has two or three companies(TSA, CHQ, and regionsair(J32)) that do some flying outside of eagle. This has been discussed before. Alot of it came from the TWA/AA merger where TSA(and maybe CHQ, not sure though) were going flying for TWA so AA graciously let them continue to do the flying and grow a bit. Regionsair mainly does EAS routes and nobody else wants them. Can Eagle bid for RFP's, nope is the plane and simple answer.

I would guess however, considering the current trend, that Eagle will be parted out or sold off one day as others have in the past. It makes monetary sense to let an outside operater run the contract planes.

I say this in regards to ASA/ Comair and Pinnacle/Mesaba snafu has been going
