Have any of you ever subscribed to ID90.com to get discounts on hotels/car rentals? Is it worth it? I don't want to spend the money on it hoping to get awesome discounts on hotels when it's going to end up giving me the same price as a website like hotels.com would. Thanks for information.

I had a problem with them 3 years ago.

I signed up, paid the fee; only after they had my money did I find out that they don't do one-way car rentals. They don't mention that little fact when you sign up, and that was the whole reason I had signed up in the first place, so of course I was disappointed.

I contacted their customer service and they said that my registration fee was non-refundable. Again I contacted them and told them that I had no other use for their services and demanded my money back since I hadn't even used them yet. They refused, so I cancelled my membership and lost my registration fee.

I told them I would post my bad experience with them on my company's web forum, but never did. I guess this forum is even better.

I just started using them last month and already have made my money back.

I had a hotel in SAN booked through another travel site and was able to get it through ID90.com for enough of a savings that I recouped my registration fee and enough to cover parking for 4 days.

I used it for a recent trip to Boston and got a rate thru them for the Renaissance Boston Seaport (5-star) for $129/night, compared to listed $314/night listed at Marriott.com
