Any new, cool headsets out there?

I need a new headset for use in the 757/767. Has to have a boom mike.

Willing to spend around $400. What’s new and cutting edge? I’ve heard there are Bluetooth wireless headsets now?

What about ANR with no battery pack?

I know the latest and greatest probably costs a lot more than $400, but just looking for ideas.

Any recommendations are appreciated.

ANR with no battery pack? I dont think that you would be able to power the ANR wihtout a battery pack unless you have built in power for that particular headset in that aircraft.

I think the 3 nicer ones that are commonly discussed on here are the Bose Aviation X, Mach1, and Clarity Alofts.

The Telex 850 ANR is powered by the a/c. Do a search, theres alot of info on th pros & cons of them.
