Anyone know of some operators in the deep south ( LA, MS, TX ) that are running 60's. Preferably contract work? Capt. or SIC.

Lear 60 Co-Captain (TX) 8/17

We are a Part 91 flight department in Houston, Texas, looking for a Lear 60 qualified Co- Captain. A successful applicant must be located in or willing to relocate to the Houston area.

The basic duties of a Captain include:
  • acting as pilot-in-command (PIC) of flights scheduled;
  • providing complete customer service to passengers;
  • complying with schedules, and other directives governing the aircraft’s operation;
  • ensuring that preflight inspections are performed;
  • preparing & filing flight plans;
  • ensuring that the aircraft is clean and prepared for flight with all provisions on board for the safety and comfort of the passengers;
  • calculating the aircraft weight and balance, fuel on board and performance charts;
  • using checklists & complying with all aspects of the company's operations manual;
  • making decisions necessary to start, delay, or cancel flights and deviate the flight from planned route or destination when operating conditions dictate;
  • completing assigned tasks given by the Chief Pilot in help to maintain flight department operations.
Minimum requirements include:
  • 5000 hours total flight time
  • 2500 hours Turbine
  • 4000 hours PIC
  • 1000 hours Jet PIC
  • ATP Certificate
  • First Class Medical with no waivers
  • Type rated in Learjet 60 preferred
  • Previous Corporate flying experience
