To any TWA people that made it to Jet Blue, congratulations to you all.

My name is Laszlo Bartha, formerly a Capt. on the MD-80, now furloughed. I'm looking for people that I may have flown with. Does anyone over there remember me?

I could use some help getting an internal
LOR.

I wish you luck - I appreciate your straightforward approach.

C'mon, there have to be former TWA guys out there at Jetblue who can help!

I heard there were quite a few TWAers hired in the last two classes.

I'm sure they are making a good impression.

wow, dude, welcome to the internet

I understand you may be from the Midwest or some points down South, where people don't lock their houses and greet their neighbors, but this is a wrong place to flash your email and phone numbers...

least you want to be signed up for for daily emails from PETA and the Rainbow Alliance..
and have your phone numbers scribbled at various FBO bathrooms, followed by "Call me for a good time, sailor"

Vlad thanks for the warning I'll be more
carefull next tiime. To anyone out there, don't sign me up for anymore viagra spam I've got all I need.

To Heavy set and Neubyfly let me know if you hear anything at all.

I wouldn't worry placing your e-mail and phone numbers on this message board. Networking, as you know, is an important part of our industry. Looking at Vladimir's flying experience, 210 hours, I have a gut feeling he doesn't understand the need for networking. Remember, e-mail accounts, phone numbers and heck, our SSAN numbers, are available on the internet thanks to the FAA and the credit bureaus. I understand the need to protect our personal and financial information, but I don't think we need to be paranoid and limit our networking here.

More importantly, I will pass your name to several of my classmates who are from TWA. Hopefully, they will remember flying with you and we can get you in touch with them to build a jetBlue network. I appauld your initiative and I hope to see you on the line someday.

Welcome aboard Laszlo.

That's total immaturity and i am sorry Laszlo that your first experience on this board was by some kid. I think this place is an excellent meeting place to find old friends, and make new ones. Best of luck in your search.

Hey Laszlo

I've flown with you and I would certainly write you a letter. ( I have to get on there first myself) Anyhow, furlough sucks but treat it as an opportunity. Hopefully, they (AA) will turn around in the not to distant future and we can get back in the cockpit and do what we love. In the meantime, if you or anybody you know needs a good Real Estate Agent give me a call or email me:)

take care and good luck

Thanks everyone for the encouragement.

holdon, who ever gets there first writes the other one the letter, deal?

Jaxgus, thanks so much for the help.
Pass along anything you hear.

Jaxgus,

Just wondering how you have flown the F-15 and the F/A/-18. Were you in the AF and Navy?
