2. Update if you don't hear anything after a while.
3. Phone interview.
4. Personality questionaire.
5. Interview.

VA is considered one slight step up from Skybus. Why anyone would accept those wages is beyond me... No way you can live in SFO area on that money unless your spouse is earning a lot of money.

..no not indy..although I co-miserate..lets see $5 per year for Ca pay is 5.26% the first year for a FO its 11.36%. The second year 5% and 10.2%respectively.

My present ALPA contract does not afford me a wage increase until a year distant all the while paying my ALPA benefactors for all this at 2% of my consessionary salary per annum.

Buttkissing would be a welcomed relief as compared to the buttkicking I'm getting from my union! Apparently buttkissing does pay off eventually!

For this ridiculous argument to be valid, you must think that all of the most senior pilots at SWA, Airtran, JetBlue, America West and Frontier are also pond scum B/C they too worked for Much Lower wages than Industry average.

Or maybe Those NWA pilots whose year 6 CAPT DC-9 pay is less than Year 6 Capt @ VA, should also hold themselves in the low esteem that you believe that the Virgin america Pilots should.

I hope you don't ever work for one of these afformentioned airlines and have to suffer through working with these senior pilots there who have dragged the industry down!
