Glad to see there's a thread started already. I was going to start one as "Netjets Hiring Rumor Debunked". They're hiring and interviewing closed rumor should be totally considered over. I just got the email invite this morning to interview. My app was accepted on 5/9 for TEB. If someone wants my interview time, PM me and I'll tell 'ya where to wire the funds. I am sending a nice email back declining due to a great Part 91 gig on a GIII I picked up a couple months ago. Best of luck to all interviewing as NJA definitely sounds like the place to be.

So how long do you think that G3 will last compared to how long NJA will last. The 3 is (unfortunately) a dying breed.

Not wear a suit???

Personally, I couldn't fathom NOT wearing a suit to a job interview.

This is the time to sell yourself. Shine your shoes, iron your shirt, get the tie right, etc.

Excellent point. They just put a few million into it with new engines, paint, a G450 interior and the Universal EFI-890R Flightdeck and the family has flown the airplane for 18 years. They will be buying a G450/GV in the next few years to go with it. I'd have to say even if the GIII isn't around as long as NJA, the family will be and that's all I care about is the stability. Don't get me wrong; NJA would have been a great move for me as well...things just happened in the order they did. Part 91 scheduled is way better than the 135 Charter I've been doing the past 6 years.

Since there is opportunity for change within the company then maybe it's not a bad move. Didn't know about the upcoming upgrade. Sad to see the G3 fading into history...it was a great airplane in its day. No matter how much you fix it up it will never be able to compete with its successors. Still waiting for the next corrosion bombshell and megabuck ASC from Savannah.
