Hi!

I heard from a NWA Capt today who had a buddy who was hired at Compass.

The Compass applicant got a letter saying he would get capt's pay regardless of which seat he sat in during a specific leg. It also said he would be a training capt.

Then, he was informed by Compass that the letter he received had been sent out to ALL Compass new hires by mistake. Only SOME of them were to be at Capts pay, and others at FO. He was pretty upset, and not sure what he was going to do.

Hey Guys
Just wondering if anyone done the medical for Compass Airlines and if so what was it like. I hold a first class medical now. I know you have to wear sweat clothes.
Good luck to future compass pilots

Fly Safe

The medical is a first class medical, the sweats are incase you have problems with the EKG and then the doc can do a stress test. If EKG normal you don't have to throw the sweats on.

Hi there future compass pilots.
Has anyone done the medical for compass airlines. If so, how was the ekg and what did the eye exam consist of. Thanks

Hey everyone. Just wondering if people are still getting calls for interviews?

I have had my stuff in since Feb and always update when I fly but still no call. I know of people who have interviewed with same general times and no experience in anything larger than a CRJ, some have had Indy connections. Just wondering what it is gonna take to get a call hopefully sooner than later. As you can tell I need a change.

Skid, Dont feel bad, Ive got an EMB 170/190 type and I cannot get a call!!!!!Seems kinda like an Indy call back first, which I cant blame them, they got a raw deal.......But frustrating as it is, I LOVE the E170 but will NOT go back to a regional as an F.O. This airplane has absolutely ZERO regional characteristics about it!!!!!!!

Compass is a REGIONAL airline! Look at the pay scale.

I was offered an interview

7000 TT
2 Type ratings 1. >30,000lbs 2. <90,000lbs
no violations

From what I understand I was at the low end of competitive applicants

Hope this helps those that are still waiting for a call?

Just curious what would draw someone with your amount of tune to a company like Compass? You must live in MSP or want to? Just seems like it would be a strange move unless you want to use it to maybe get to NWA.

None the less good luck!
