It happened in the past at NJA when they couldnt fill seats in the u-boat. With the new contract you won't see it ever again.

You'll never ever never ever see nja do it again. I was an IOE guy during those times and it got so screwed up it was funny. They were losing guys, the attrition rate was horrible, it screwed up the training program, but man oh man was it a cluster.

You'll never ever see that again.

Amen, brother......

What a nightmare that was.........

Get serious!!!! What F.O. is going to let some off-the-street flunky pass him by for a F.O. wages. Listen pal, every fractional has qualified F.O.'s waiting to upgrade.

By the looks of your profile, you are at Airnet. Do you think Airnet would hire a Cap't off the street?

Actually, Airnet has hired directly into the left seat for their passenger charter aircraft.

That was strictly to get the pax charter up and running, particularly the LR-60. It is not a current policy nor opportunity.

My statement still stands.

ummm stupid nja had new hires coming off the street into captain spots. The FO's didn't want the spots and the company had to look elsewhere.

Like i said though it will probably never happen again.
