Any flying jobs in upstate NY?

I should change my user name to "Desparate in NY"! However, I am obligated to living in the capital region of New York State. Does anyone know of any operators (Even airlines with bases in the area or that have good commuter policies.) in the Capital District region that might be hiring pilots in the near or distant future. I belive an aerial photography company named LandCare is looking for pilots. Not sure what you're looking for, but this is for low timeers (500 hrs) flying singles. I beleive they are based somewhere up by Utica. Try searching for a website. Best of Luck!

Try CommutAir, the best Commuter Airline in the Norteast. And Yes they DO have a base in ALB, NY. Give them a try you won,t regret it.

How about Richmor Aviation at Columbia County (1B1)? Not an airline, but a big 135 operation with Lears, GIIs (or G-whatever), King Airs.

I'm not sure how much they hire, and I haven't really kept up with their recent activities but they used to be a pretty big charter operation for many years.
