Any China based info

I am considering the China thing but unlike my ME connections where I have a lot of on the ground intel, I am a little short of good China intel. Specifically some of the local Shanghai based A320 operators. It sounds preliminarily as if I would be happier in China as opposed to the ME do to schedule, scenery, easier societal integration, etc.
Anyone have a first hand opinion or a buddy to contact. Thanks
